Role Summary: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support, which includes the preparation of documents, managing correspondence, and providing general office assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage correspondence, reports, and various documentation; organize files, maintain tracking systems, and handle photocopying and faxing tasks.
- Offer backup support for telephone communications.
- Process and manage invoices and billing records.
- Maintain attendance records and manage library resources or manuals.
- Document meeting minutes accurately.
- Coordinate travel arrangements efficiently.
- Ensure adequate inventory of office supplies and place orders as necessary.
Additional Duties:
- Execute other assigned tasks as required.
- Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of one year in general office administrative roles or a comparable combination of education and experience is required. Experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.
- Proficient in PC usage, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and interpretive capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Capable of meeting or exceeding performance standards.
