Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Coordinator, you will:

  • Consistently surpass personal sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Collaborate with senior sales personnel to manage accounts and key prospects.
  • Proactively seek group, transient, and banquet business through strategic planning and execution.
  • Negotiate pricing within market parameters and confirm agreements through written contracts.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests, vendors, colleagues, and the global sales network.
  • Establish and maintain an organized filing system.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests via email and phone in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist the sales team with appointment scheduling as needed.
  • Participate in regional sales and marketing meetings, providing follow-up as necessary.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments related to sales and food & beverage.

Customer Engagement
Respond to all reservation requests and incoming communications efficiently, ensuring adherence to established standards. Draft corporate and leisure sales contracts, keeping corporate profiles current and updating rates in the property management system.

Maintain the hotel's database and ensure timely updates regarding VIP arrivals, coordinating preparations with relevant departments. Collaborate closely with Sales, Food & Beverage, Revenue, and Room departments to manage meetings and events effectively.

Event Coordination
Conduct site inspections for potential clients and issue Banquet Event Orders (BEO) in coordination with the event organizer and the F&B team. Keep detailed records of sales plans and activities, supporting the Reservation team as needed.

Reporting and Administration
Prepare necessary reports for management, manage stationary supplies for Sales & Revenue, and assist colleagues in related roles as required. Maintain accurate customer records and timely sales reporting to ensure the upkeep of the sales database.

Professional Development
Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene policies. Stay informed about industry trends and maintain relationships with relevant associations.

By promoting the hotel and its offerings, you will secure both corporate and leisure business, maximizing yield and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
