Job Title: Director of Payroll and HRIS

At Bunzl Distribution USA, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Payroll and HRIS to lead our HR technology and Payroll Services teams. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for providing direction and ensuring all HRIS and Payroll Shared Services' systems, policies, and programs are competitive, sustainable, scalable, and have a significant impact on the organization's performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HRIS: Develop and implement strategies for HR technology, including systems, integrations, and data integrity for HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Benefits, Learning Management, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership: Work with HR leadership across all Centers of Excellence and company departments to develop systems and process roadmaps to support all stakeholders.
  • Optimize HRIS systems: Ensure all HRIS systems are optimized to meet workforce growth requirements, creating opportunities for automation and the reduction of manual processes.
  • Payroll and Shared Services: Develop and implement shared services for payroll processes, policies, and procedures to ensure proper internal controls, efficiency, and a great employee experience.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: BA/BS degree with an emphasis in human resources, business, information technology, or a related field required.
  • Experience: 5+ years leading direct reports and managing cross-functional teams, with prior experience with HRIS/Payroll and payroll in the US, Canada, and Mexico preferred.
  • Skills: Demonstrated effective management and leadership skills, ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and employees, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
