About the Role

Safety National is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Compensation Administration to lead the development, implementation, and management of compensation programs that align with our strategic goals and objectives.

As a key member of our Human Resources team, you will be responsible for ensuring compensation practices support the organization in attracting, engaging, and retaining talent while remaining legally compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee job description and job family management, base pay structures, promotion and merit processes, short and long-term incentive programs, holiday bonus, and other special compensation programs.
  • Conduct job evaluations and classifications to market price jobs and ensure internal equity and consistency across the organization.
  • Develop and manage compensation budgets and forecasts proposals, in partnership with Financial Planning and Executive Management.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders across the enterprise on compensation philosophy and pay decisions that reward performance and maintain internal equity and external competitive pay practices.
Requirements
  • 7 or more years of experience in compensation management or work closely related to compensation management.
  • Prior management experience including responsibility for all aspects of performance management.
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, Microsoft Excel, compensation benchmarking tools, and HRIS systems.
  • Superb professional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

Safety National is committed to fair, transparent pay and strives to provide competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $111,000 to $179,000, and compensation will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.

We offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including incentive award bonuses, an annual holiday bonus, and profit-sharing contributions.
