Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Compensation Administration to lead the development, implementation, and management of compensation programs that align with our strategic goals and objectives. As a key member of our Human Resources team, you will ensure that our compensation practices support the organization in attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent while maintaining legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compensation programs that align with our Total Rewards Strategy
  • Oversee job description and job family management, base pay structures, promotion and merit processes, short and long-term incentive programs, holiday bonus, and other special compensation programs
  • Conduct job evaluations and classifications to market price jobs and ensure internal equity and consistency across the organization
  • Play a key role in educating leaders across the enterprise on our compensation philosophy and consult with them on pay decisions that reward performance and maintain internal equity and external competitive pay practices
  • Oversee annual salary budget planning, analyze compensation market data, and develop and manage compensation budgets and forecasts proposals in partnership with Financial Planning and Executive Management
Requirements
  • 7 or more years of experience in compensation management or a closely related field
  • Prior management experience, including responsibility for all aspects of performance management
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation practices, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in data analysis, Microsoft Excel, compensation benchmarking tools, and HRIS systems
  • Superb professional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adhere to a hybrid work schedule working from our home office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience participating in third-party compensation surveys
  • Prior experience presenting information to executives and senior management
  • Prior experience with software products Payscale and/or Payfactors
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other HR certifications such as SPHR or SHRM SCP
  • Prior experience with HRIS system UKG
