Position Overview:
We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator for our Brighton Office. The Patient Coordinator will manage all front office responsibilities and provide essential support to patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. Previous experience in the healthcare sector is a prerequisite.
Work Schedule:
This position requires full-time availability (30+ hours per week) with 8-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, including rotating Saturdays during business hours from 7 AM to 7 PM. Flexibility to assist in a collaborative team setting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage incoming calls, scheduling tasks, and online inquiries while ensuring a positive experience for each caller.
- Foster a professional and welcoming environment to enhance patient service and care.
- Understand the flow of patient interactions and anticipate the needs of healthcare providers.
- Handle inventory management and supply stocking as needed.
- Participate in all training and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Required: Experience in healthcare settings.
- Preferred: Background as a Medical Receptionist.
- Familiarity with EMR software and patient scheduling systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service and patient relations abilities are a must.
- Professionalism, reliability, and dedication are expected.
- Prior experience in a dermatology or medical environment is preferred.
- Open availability for weekday and weekend shifts is required.
