Position SummaryThis role combines technical expertise with exceptional people skills, requiring you to manage customer relationships, supervise vehicle technicians, and oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with quality standards, developing customer satisfaction and retention, and ensuring high teammate retention.
Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 4 years of auto service technical experience, and 1 year of service manager or service writer experience. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage inventory and scheduling, and capacity to lead and coach others are essential.
Responsibilities- Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level
- Serve all automotive service needs of customers
- Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team
- Ensure high teammate retention
- Maintain compliance with quality standards
- Develop customer satisfaction and retention
- Manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, and other operational aspects
- Lead and coach others to achieve team goals
- Recruit and select technicians and general service teammates successfully
- Continuously educate yourself on automotive repair issues
- Complete all required Firestone Complete Auto Care store education courses and modules
- Hold a valid automotive driver's license at all times
