Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee and coordinate all service department operations within our retail environment, specializing in tire sales and related automotive services. This role is designed for individuals aspiring to grow into a Store Manager position, as Midas prioritizes internal training and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities
As an Automotive Service Manager at Midas, your primary duties will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service by actively listening to and advising customers.
  • Following up with clients regarding requested services and estimated completion times.
  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and making detailed recommendations, including creating computerized repair orders and sourcing necessary parts.
  • Communicating pricing estimates to customers and promoting current service specials.
  • Leading, managing, and training a team while aligning with the company's vision, core values, and employee creed.
  • Supervising a team of up to ten employees.
  • Overseeing technicians in the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of various vehicle makes and models.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a service or retail environment.
  • General knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • A valid driver's license.
