Position Summary

This role combines technical expertise with exceptional people skills, requiring you to manage customer relationships, supervise vehicle technicians, and oversee the hiring and training process. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with quality standards, developing customer satisfaction, and ensuring high teammate retention.

Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 4 years of auto service technical experience, and 1 year of service manager or service writer experience. Strong problem-solving skills, inventory management, and leadership abilities are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level
  • Serve all automotive service needs of customers
  • Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team
  • Ensure high teammate retention
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards
  • Develop customer satisfaction and retention
  • Manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, and other operational aspects
  • Lead and coach others to achieve team goals
  • Recruit and select technicians and general service teammates successfully
  • Continuously educate yourself on automotive repair issues
  • Complete all required Firestone Complete Auto Care store education courses and modules
  • Hold a valid automotive driver's license at all times
