Role Summary:

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive the growth of our sponsorship business. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategies to increase revenue across WWE's portfolio of assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a robust pipeline of qualified prospects to meet or exceed financial goals.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and relationships with brands and sponsorship agencies to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Expedite the sales cycle by understanding client marketing needs, WWE capabilities, and accurately articulating WWE's value proposition.
  • Identify client business challenges and translate them into opportunities to sell WWE partnerships and sponsorship solutions.
  • Manage client relationships from initial pitch to long-term engagements, providing ongoing strategic management and leadership.
  • Creatively explore upsell and leverage opportunities with existing sponsorship and media partners.
  • Inspire clients and team members with innovative sales ideas that impact overall goals and objectives.
  • Build trusted relationships with sponsorship decision-makers within brands and their agencies to serve their interactive marketing needs.
  • Accurately forecast revenue and proactively address challenges that impede sales growth.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of sponsorship sales experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing six and seven-figure media deals.
  • Strong knowledge of the sponsorship/media landscape, including industry trends, key players, and terminology.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creation of convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, and presentations.
  • Ability to work in Stamford, CT, and New York City, with flexibility to travel as required by partner needs.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
