Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized businesses in the Springfield area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for daily sales appointments and travel within a 20-mile radius of your home
  • Direct sales appointments with business owners to market and secure Business Analysts Survey Agreements
  • Provide feedback to the Business Coordinator and share new business lead opportunities
  • Review daily successes and challenges with the Sales Manager and receive sales support as needed

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Excellent communication and listening skills to uncover client pain points
  • Ability to begin work immediately
