Business Development and Sales Specialist

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development and Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with independent Midwestern Distributors/Dealers, influencing them to add or replace their current list of represented brands with our product line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire and develop new business through influencing an established network of independent Midwestern Distributors/Dealers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Distributors/Dealers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective communication with Distributors/Dealers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 2- or 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
  • Ag background with an established independent network of regional distributors/dealers a must.
  • Experience providing seed treatment services to distributors/dealers could be beneficial.
  • Influential relationship-builder who enjoys cultivating strong business relationships.
  • Great communicator who is performance-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
