Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative, Communications, and Technical Support Specialist to join our team at the Department of Transportation. As a key member of our organization, you will provide critical support to facilitate our strategic objectives and provide leadership for complex and challenging activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative, communications, and technical support to facilitate the Department of Transportation's organizational strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the mission of the Department of Transportation.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful external and internal communication efforts and initiatives.
- Develop information and technical content in various mediums to ensure effective communication that solidifies working relationships with stakeholders.
- Represent the Department of Transportation as a principal point of contact to provide advice and guidance on the applications of policies and procedures.
- Prepare major reports on projects, programs, and other work activities for internal and external distribution.
- Develop briefings to convey strategic vision and/or organizational policies to internal and external audiences.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50.
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13 level.
- This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
