One Federal Solution is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Support Specialist II (Casework Assistant) to assist our federal client.

The Administrative Support Specialist II will be instrumental in providing essential services related to international child abductions or adoptions, as well as emergency operations such as evacuations from crisis-affected regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess an Active Secret Clearance
  • Exhibit proficiency in all functions of the Administrative Assistant II/OMS role
  • Compose routine correspondence for approval by supervisors and other officials
  • Assist personnel with case management (initiate cases in the relevant database, ensure correct templates are utilized, adhere to established SOPs, guidance documents, and FAQs)
  • Draft and prepare official communications
  • Provide ongoing support to legal assistance coordinators and Country Officers
  • Oversee the management of the section's correspondence
  • Maintain both paper and electronic filing systems for all incoming and outgoing communications
  • Analyze and report monthly case statistics for the branch, due on the first of each month
  • Act as a notetaker for Branch, Division, and other relevant meetings
  • Serve as a case worker for the Consular task force as needed
  • Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate Government manager

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to produce error-free final documents and emails (letters, memorandums, cables, speeches, briefing papers, etc.), many intended for upper management and governmental officials
  • Strong attention to detail with the capability to review documents for completeness and identify discrepancies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Adaptability to the evolving needs of the office and/or directorate
