Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Installation Specialist to join our team at Peak Technologies. As a key member of our field services team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and troubleshooting various on-site engineering assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute on-site installations and fault finding for automated systems, including image-based identification and inspection systems, RFID and Bluetooth ID solutions, and other automated technology.
  • Interface with customers and management to ensure project status updates and address service issues.
  • Provide high-level customer service and satisfaction.
  • Travel extensively (up to 90%) for customer site visits.
Accountabilities
  • Independently complete technical analysis on complex systems.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and possess knowledge of industrial controls and communication protocols.
  • Experience with Electro-Mechanical systems.
  • Handle difficult customer situations with logical troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and proactive communication.
  • Multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Build transparent communications internally and externally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in a relevant engineering field with 2-3 years of experience in relevant environments, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Machine Vision Systems, Autonomous Mobile Robotics, Refrigerated Locker Systems, and Print/Apply Systems.
  • Basic Java scripting experience for data formatting and communications.
  • Flexibility to work evening/weekend hours or varying patterns.
  • Potential for occasional international travel.
  • Ability to work remotely and within a team environment.
  • Valid Driver's License without restriction.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country.
  • Physical capability for prolonged standing/walking, lifting, and ladder use.
Language Skills
  • English primary language for daily operations, with additional support for Spanish, French, and Dutch.
  • Effective reading and interpretation of documents and correspondence.
  • Proficient verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
