POSITION SUMMARY:

The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of the Company's Cart Containment and related systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate under the direction of the Field Services Manager and collaborate closely with the Field Services Engineer.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot the Company's Cart Containment systems and other related technologies.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of systems.
  • Address service and repair requests promptly within designated areas.
  • Travel extensively, up to 70%, across various regions, including flexibility for night and weekend shifts as necessary.
  • Make informed decisions on-site regarding necessary actions to resolve system issues.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Assist in training new Field Services Technicians and other personnel.
  • Follow instructions diligently while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with the Company's standard operating procedures and uphold its Core Values, Mission, and Vision.
  • Utilize service scheduling systems and maintain accurate records of service and expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with adaptability.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Security Camera Systems, Point of Sale Systems, and various electrical devices.
  • Proficiency in dustless concrete cutting and asphalt work.
  • Hands-on experience in retail device installations and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with conduit bending and running, as well as using power tools and scissor lifts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in installing devices in retail settings.
  • At least 2 years of experience with electrical and low voltage systems, including concrete cutting and conduit work.
  • Desirable experience as a general contractor or in related fields.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
