POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our systems. This position involves working closely with the Field Services Manager and Field Services Engineer to deliver high-quality service and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Company’s Cart Containment and related systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Address service and repair requests promptly within designated regions.
- Travel extensively (up to 70%) across various locations, with a willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Make informed decisions on-site to resolve system issues effectively.
- Manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- Assist in training new Field Services Technicians and other personnel.
- Follow directions meticulously while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Comply with the Company’s standard operating procedures and uphold its Core Values, Mission, and Vision.
- Utilize scheduling systems for installation and service tracking efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with adaptability.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven leadership capabilities.
- Experience with security camera systems, point of sale systems, and electrical devices.
- Hands-on experience with concrete cutting, conduit bending, and installation in retail settings.
- Proficiency in using power tools and scissor lifts.
- Familiarity with installation and service scheduling software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in device installation within retail environments.
- At least 2 years of experience with electrical and low voltage systems.
- Experience as a general contractor or in related fields is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $27 to $32 per hour, along with comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Additional benefits include life insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, generous paid time off, and a company vehicle.
