Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Technical Sales Support Team Leader plays a crucial role in delivering both technical and administrative assistance to the sales support division. This includes overseeing the collection, evaluation, and resolution of issues related to sales support operations, such as ERP systems, proposal development, and internal order preparation processes. Additionally, this position ensures adherence to company protocols and provides ongoing training and support for the sales support personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in troubleshooting inquiries regarding orders, account statuses, and issues associated with CORE and CAP system functionalities.
  • Develop and recommend training programs and procedures for the sales support team.
  • Offer technical and analytical guidance for initiatives aimed at process enhancement by identifying, verifying, analyzing, and executing opportunities for improvement and re-engineering.
  • Gather and analyze statistical data using MOI ERP applications related to pre-order entry practices, including proposal generation and order accuracy.
  • Collaborate with management to pinpoint specific scenarios requiring staff to adapt to changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.
  • Examine orders to ensure alignment with MOI sales support standards and verify that milestones and quality benchmarks are achieved.
  • Ensure that the sales support team operates in compliance with established company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Engage with the Sales Support Director and other management to explore performance enhancement strategies, effective change management, and continuous training initiatives.
  • Conduct individual meetings to assess current and upcoming projects while identifying training opportunities.
  • Facilitate departmental training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree coupled with 3-5 years of experience in support roles, ideally in customer service and solution development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the responsibilities of this role, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers for handling tasks, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision capabilities required for this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

This position is typically situated in a general office setting. Work is primarily sedentary but may necessitate standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The work environment is generally favorable, with adequate lighting and temperature, and no hazardous or unpleasant conditions related to noise, dust, etc. Standard office equipment is available for use.
