POSITION OVERVIEW

The Oracle Cloud business solutions division is seeking a skilled architect to innovate and refine our Supply Chain Management (SCM) planning execution in collaboration with operational partners. This role offers an opportunity to gain insights into the biotech sector from an applications perspective. The position demands extensive architectural innovation and configuration to address business challenges, guiding engagements to enhance scalability and establish a benchmark for excellence in biotech, product, technology, and customer experience. Contribute to the development of an enterprise solution that aligns with our digital technology objectives and leverages business opportunities. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency of business functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directing the ideation of Oracle Cloud SCM architecture, establishing strategic direction, designing integration frameworks, and fostering trust while building effective solutions.
  • Overseeing the architecture of intricate data integrations, design, and deployment of solutions.
  • Creating efficient procedures and policies to minimize process variations and gaps within the SCM architecture. Advocate for process agility by identifying enhancement opportunities and driving solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Exhibiting exceptional communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders while meeting timelines and budget constraints.
  • Designing and implementing system and process enhancements from a functional user viewpoint, focusing on root causes, usability, system integration, and infrastructure.
  • Acting as a visible and respected strategic influencer and architecture expert in SCM across various functions and the enterprise, with the ability to persuade both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Managing and taking responsibility for production support issues and tickets through established procedures, maintaining essential relationships.
  • Utilizing expertise in the competitive landscape of back-office ERP systems.
  • Accountable for data migration, integration, and testing initiatives.
  • Leading the preparation of documentation, including user guides, configuration guides, business requirement documents, UAT definitions, success KPIs, and functional specifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 12 years of development experience in leading Oracle Cloud SCM application architecture.
  • At least 2 complete full life cycle Oracle implementations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all supply chain modules, with the highest level of expertise in planning. Demonstrated case studies of innovation addressing business needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and root cause analysis capabilities for evaluating architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional, global organizations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expertise in creating data accessibility, including reporting and exporting views to Snowflake.
  • Proven experience in business process improvement and re-engineering, along with hands-on configuration activities.
  • Comfortable in an ideation environment, collaborating with experienced colleagues who will challenge proposed solutions.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base pay range for this full-time position is $171,000—$231,000 USD. Actual base pay will depend on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is also eligible for equity grants, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, and an annual bonus or sales incentive program.
