We are assembling a team of well-rounded architects dedicated to crafting robust solutions and best practices that ensure customer success as we expand. The SCM planning solutions architect plays a pivotal role in our journey to achieve business goals, foster sustainable transformation, and drive continuous process enhancements to optimize value creation. A profound understanding of Planning and Inventory in a vertically integrated context is essential, alongside expertise in Procurement, Order Management, and Logistics. Design and implement best practice architectures to tackle complex business challenges from strategy through execution, ensuring that new processes and architectures are comprehended and embraced without limitations imposed by systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Steering the ideation of Oracle Cloud SCM architecture, setting the strategic direction, and designing integration frameworks while fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Overseeing the architecture of intricate data integrations, design, and solution deployment.
  • Formulating efficient procedures and policies to minimize process discrepancies within the SCM architecture. Encourage process agility by proactively identifying opportunities for architectural enhancements and driving solutions that yield measurable benefits.
  • Exhibiting excellent communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and being a respected influencer known for adhering to timelines and budgetary commitments.
  • Designing and enhancing systems and processes from a functional user viewpoint, focusing on root causes, usability, system integration, and infrastructure.
  • Acting as a visible and respected strategic influencer in SCM Planning and an architectural expert across various functions and the enterprise. Capable of persuading both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Managing and taking responsibility for production support issues and tickets through established processes, maintaining essential relationships.
  • Utilizing expertise in the competitive landscape of back-office ERP systems.
  • Accountable for data migration, integration, and testing initiatives.
  • Leading the preparation of documentation, including user guides, configuration manuals, business requirement documents, UAT definitions, success KPIs, and functional specifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 12 years of development experience in leading Oracle Cloud SCM application architecture.
  • At least 2 complete full life cycle Oracle implementations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all supply chain modules, with the highest level of expertise in planning. Documented case studies of innovative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and root cause analysis capabilities for evaluating architecture.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively within cross-functional, matrixed global organizations.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Expertise in creating data accessibility, including reporting and exporting views to Snowflake.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process improvement and re-engineering, with hands-on configuration activities.
  • Comfortable in an ideation environment, collaborating with experienced colleagues who will challenge proposed solutions.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base pay range for this full-time position is $171,000—$231,000 USD. Actual base pay will depend on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is also eligible for equity grants, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, and an annual bonus or sales incentive program.
