The scope of the solutions encompasses customer education, straightforward workarounds, configuration adjustments, and potentially extensive code modifications. Such modifications may require the introduction of new modules or even architectural redesigns within the product. An architectural mindset is essential for generating impactful ideas that directly benefit our clients, with a focus on business continuity and engineering solutions to resolve production challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the complete product life cycle, from development through to deployment in cloud/on-premises environments and enhancing end-user experiences.
  • Participate in design evaluations of new features, advocating for supportability and maintainability.
  • Maintain a continuous emphasis on innovation to propose and implement engineering solutions tailored to customer needs, ensuring successful deployments.
  • Develop new diagnostic tools to expedite the debugging of customer issues efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to tackle complex technical challenges associated with intricate systems.
  • Gain insights into the cloud stack (SaaS & PaaS) and intricate customer deployments.

This role presents a unique chance to collaborate across various teams within the organization, including support, sales, devops, and multiple development teams and architects. This cross-functional interaction will enhance networking skills and provide a comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle events related to Oracle's offerings.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in developing, debugging, and utilizing multithreaded applications.
  • Proven ability to swiftly learn new technologies.
  • Solid grasp of concurrency, multithreading, and memory management.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, JavaBeans, JavaScript, JMS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience in building and utilizing REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge in developing, implementing, and optimizing software algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational database design principles.
  • Good understanding of XML and XSL/XSLT.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to producing high-quality software.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence or Analytics.
  • Experience with Cloud services such as OCI, AWS, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and Python.
