We are assembling a team of well-rounded architects to create robust solutions and best practices that ensure customer success as we expand. The SCM planning solutions architect plays a vital role in our journey to achieve business goals, fostering sustainable change and continuous process enhancement to maximize value creation. A strong background in Planning and Inventory within a vertically integrated environment is essential, along with expertise in Procurement, Order Management, and Logistics. The role involves designing and implementing best practice architecture to tackle complex business challenges from strategy through execution, ensuring that new business processes and architecture are comprehended and embraced without being perceived as limitations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directing Oracle Cloud SCM architectural ideation, establishing design direction, and fostering trust while developing solutions.
  • Overseeing the architecture of intricate data integrations, designs, and solution deployments.
  • Creating efficient procedures and policies to minimize process variations and gaps within the SCM architecture, promoting agility by identifying enhancement opportunities and driving solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Exhibiting excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and being a respected influencer committed to meeting timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Designing and enhancing systems and processes from a functional user viewpoint, focusing on root causes, usability, system integration, and infrastructure.
  • Acting as a visible and respected strategic influencer and architecture expert across various functions and the enterprise, capable of persuading both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Managing production support issues and tickets through established procedures, maintaining key relationships.
  • Utilizing expertise in the competitive landscape of back-office ERP systems.
  • Being accountable for data migration, integration, and testing initiatives.
  • Leading the preparation of documentation, including user guides, configuration guides, business requirement documents, UAT definitions, success KPIs, and functional specifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 12 years of development experience in leading Oracle Cloud SCM application architecture.
  • At least 2 complete full life cycle Oracle implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of all supply chain modules, with the highest level of expertise in planning and proven case studies of innovation addressing business needs.
  • Exceptional analytical and root cause analysis skills for evaluating architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional, global organizations.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Expertise in creating data accessibility, including reporting and exporting views to Snowflake.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process improvement and hands-on configuration activities.
  • Comfortable in an ideation environment, collaborating with experienced colleagues who will challenge proposed solutions.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base pay range for this full-time position is $171,000—$231,000 USD. Actual base pay will depend on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is also eligible for equity grants, comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and an annual bonus or sales incentive program.
