Job Overview

Position Summary:
This role involves working overnight shifts on weekends, specifically from 10 PM to 6 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Guest Services Responsibilities
  • Complete necessary brand training to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to achieving hotel objectives related to guest satisfaction.
  • Provide assistance and information to guests regarding hotel amenities and the surrounding area.
Operational Duties
  • Conduct daily cleaning of public spaces and back-of-house areas, ensuring adequate supply levels.
  • Promptly report maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work environment, including housekeeping closets and laundry facilities.
  • Follow established procedures for lost and found items.
  • Ensure the removal of trash and debris from the property to maintain a pleasant environment for guests.
  • Keep elevators clean and polished.
  • Monitor pool and fitness areas, ensuring the availability of clean towels.
  • Sanitize and wrap guest room glassware according to brand standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness in public restrooms and maintain adequate stock of paper products.
  • Communicate inventory needs to the housekeeping department.
  • Assist with laundry operations and room attendant tasks as needed.
  • Complete special projects such as carpet and upholstery cleaning as required.
  • Adhere to hotel Do Not Disturb protocols.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and organized houseman cart.
  • Report maintenance or repair issues to management promptly.
  • Contribute to the hotel's financial objectives through effective loss prevention and cost control measures.
Safety and Security
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards and security concerns.
  • Report any conditions that may endanger guests or associates.
  • Remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to ensure safety.
  • Understand and follow MSDS instructions for chemicals and supplies.
  • Protect personal information by adhering to privacy standards.
  • Follow hotel security procedures for room entry.
  • Ensure personal safety by adhering to safety standards.
  • Stay informed about emergency procedures.

Physical Requirements

The associate is regularly required to walk, use hands, and communicate effectively. Frequent reaching and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must be well-groomed and professional.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Dependability and reliability are crucial.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be physically fit to perform job duties.
