About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for soliciting, developing, and maintaining accounts in the Association market segment through direct sales efforts, while ensuring that budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit, develop, and maintain accounts in the Association market segment
  • Ensure budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least four years' hotel sales experience
  • Proven success in prospecting, developing, and closing group business in the Association market
  • Previous experience selling hotel group room nights in Richmond, Virginia, including current relationships and a track record of established business and accounts in that market
