At CT2, we're seeking a talented Technical Sales Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth by promoting and selling our innovative soil data products to enterprise customers in the agricultural industry.

Our groundbreaking aggregated soil data solutions provide a unique value proposition for our customers, enabling them to make informed decisions about nutrient management and drive more value to farmer livelihoods.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and adapting strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the agriculture industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building a customer base and establishing relationships with existing customers
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and adapting strategies to stay ahead of the competition
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of our products' features and benefits and effectively communicating this information to customers
  • Collaborating with the broader Sales Team to develop a sales plan and forecast aligned with revenue objectives
  • Reporting on sales results and forecasting updates

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of experience with a proven track record in sales of a new product to the market within the agriculture industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Travel as required (60%)
  • BS in an Ag-related or Ag-adjacent field with a deep knowledge of the industry
