Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Manager to join our team at Opal Corporate Office. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling within a given market segment, building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers, and responding to incoming group opportunities for business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell within the given market segment
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers
- Respond to incoming group opportunities for business
- Process all business correspondence within acceptable time limits
- Understand the overall market for each hotel, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of successful experience in reactive or proactive hotel group sales
- Catering experience in a hotel, resort, country club, or similar
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Professional demeanor
- Excellent listening skills
- Exceptional detail in follow-up
- Manages time effectively
- Strong qualifying and closing skills
- Enjoy a team sales approach
- Strong computer skills; CI/TY experience preferred
