Position Summary

We are in search of a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive who will focus on acquiring new clients for gWorks' SaaS offerings tailored for local governments. This role requires a client-centric sales strategy aimed at delivering value and building long-term relationships. If you are passionate about technology and enjoy closing sales while making a difference in communities, this position is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide potential clients through the purchasing journey to secure new business and enhance existing accounts.
  • Comprehensively understand client needs and articulate the value of gWorks' solutions effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve or surpass quarterly targets.
  • Stay informed about gWorks' SaaS products and their benefits to our clients.
  • Participate in industry conferences and travel as necessary to engage with prospects and present at local government meetings.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and maintain updated records of sales activities.
  • Utilize CRM tools (HubSpot) to track all interactions and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales support teams to enhance the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or outbound calling.
  • Experience in GovTech sales or working with local government entities is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SaaS or recurring revenue models is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven track record of selling software products in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems.
