About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at gWorks. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business sales and growth in our small local government territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local government officials and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on gWorks' SaaS offerings and their benefits to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Attend conferences and events to network with potential clients and promote gWorks' products.
  • Manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities to ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure seamless execution of sales activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of sales, marketing, or outbound calling experience.
  • GovTech sales experience and knowledge of local government operations is a plus.
  • SaaS or recurring revenue sales experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
