Position: Customer Service/Sales Support

This role is integral to our Customer Service team, where you will provide essential support to both customers and sales representatives in their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests, troubleshoot product issues, and assist customers in identifying their needs through visual aids via phone and email.
  • Support our Inside Sales Team, Outside Sales Team, and Market Development Managers in achieving their objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and modify orders as necessary.

Your contributions will play a vital role in our ongoing business growth. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to engage with various departments effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Typing proficiency of at least 50 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Strong command of Office365 tools.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to compose clear and concise emails independently.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and think critically.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues at all organizational levels.

Summary:

This position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. It involves promptly addressing customer requests for pricing and availability, managing phone and email inquiries, confirming shipment statuses, and updating customer information.

Essential Duties:

  • Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, with a high volume of interactions daily.
  • Monitor shipment statuses and provide tracking information for orders.
  • Confirm receipt of orders through various communication channels.
  • Regularly update customer databases and manage order corrections.
  • Document customer feedback and concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate actively in customer service initiatives and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education and relevant customer service experience are preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and customer orders.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical operations and data interpretation.

Physical Demands:

The role requires regular sitting, talking, and listening, with frequent use of a computer. Occasional lifting of light to moderate weights may be necessary.

Work Environment:

The work setting is typically moderate in noise level, with standard office interactions.
