Job Title: Guest Services Agent

Join our team at The Cliffs Hotel & Spa, a premier oceanfront hotel on the Central Coast, as a Guest Services Agent. We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to provide exceptional customer service and create lasting memories for our guests.

Job Summary:

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and completion of daily checklists. You will also work dedicated shifts in our Retail Store, the Salt and Sundry Giftshop, and be responsible for daily sales, checklists, and assistance with store inventory. You will work with all departments to accommodate our guests and provide a luxurious experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and completion of daily checklists.
  • Work dedicated shifts in our Retail Store, the Salt and Sundry Giftshop, and be responsible for daily sales, checklists, and assistance with store inventory.
  • Collaborate with all departments to accommodate our guests and provide a luxurious experience.
  • Ability to work in stressful situations and maintain a friendly, outgoing attitude throughout all shifts.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • Working knowledge of guest services in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Responsible Beverage (RBS) Certificate within 30 days of start date.
  • Ability to work with people effectively and multitask in mentally demanding situations.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand continuously for the duration of the shift (4-8 hours).
  • Ability to sit continuously for the duration of your shift (4-8 hours).
  • Ability to lift small packages (under 40 pounds).
