Job Title: Guest Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Representative to join our team at the Courtyard Long Beach Downtown. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and process guest check-ins and check-outs, adapting to any changes or requests
  • Secure payment and verify billing, making adjustments as needed
  • Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, and local interests
  • Run daily reports and review them to communicate important information to the next shift's staff
  • Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank securely at the end of each shift
  • Accept and record wake-up calls, delivering them to the right department
  • Communicate any emergencies, lost items, or theft to the proper security staff and/or authorities
  • Keep contingency lists in case of emergency and communicate necessary messages
