IT Service Desk Analyst - Nationwide

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our IT & Business Systems Team as an IT Service Desk Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to users of YHA's IT and Business Systems.
  • Log issues and requests for assistance and provide technical support and advice to a range of internal and external customers.
  • Provide great customer service, resolving issues or escalating them to colleagues for completion.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to A Level/BTEC equivalent in Computing or IT related subject, or experience working in an IT Service Desk role.
  • Experience of working in a customer service role preferred.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory or Office 365.
  • Experience providing remote desktop support.
  • Excellent working knowledge of desktop applications including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience of using call logging software.
  • Experience of raising and monitoring calls with third party suppliers would be advantageous.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues and their resolution with a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work effectively and to prioritise own workload.
  • Good team player, willing and keen to learn.
