Position Summary: We currently have openings for Intake Coordinators at various branch locations. These positions are full-time, non-exempt, and come with a comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to remain organized while working independently.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain initial Patient Profiles for therapy, ensuring distribution to relevant healthcare team members.
  • Manage incoming calls for the Intake Workgroup, documenting all communications appropriately.
  • Facilitate effective communication with pharmacy, reimbursement, and delivery teams regarding patient referrals and ongoing issues.
  • Collaborate with the Liaison/Care Coordination team to streamline discharge processes.
  • Relay patient requirements and status changes to infusion and reimbursement teams, as well as nursing staff.
  • Document all patient-related interactions in clinical records accurately.
  • Update patient supply requirements and ensure proper documentation of delivery requests.
  • Correct any discrepancies in patient files as identified through daily reports.
  • Adhere to professional appearance standards set by NELC.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate of Arts degree.
  • Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
