We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Human Resources Manager to join our team at SWM International. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our regional operations.
Key Responsibilities- Business Partner: Serve as a primary contact for employees and managers to answer inquiries and provide HR support.
- HR Expert: Act as a subject matter expert within the facilities; recommend best practices, ensure compliance with key legal requirements and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Talent Acquisition: Assist with posting job openings on various job boards and company websites. Screen resumes and coordinate the interview process, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Employee Relations: Promote a philosophy of employee relations throughout the sites which emphasizes open communications, the value of people, equal opportunities and treatment, and continuous learning.
- Labor Strategy: Develop and implement labor relations strategies in both union and non-union sites. Able to represent the company in investigations, arbitrations, and other legal matters.
- Performance Management: Work with leaders to monitor, develop and manage performance of our employees.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of progressive HR leadership or business experience is required.
- Prior experience overseeing HR teams and efforts for multi-site manufacturing facilities is needed.
- Prior union experience is required.
- Ability to lead and work independently across multiple sites with minimal supervision.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight travel required.
