Human Resources Director

At Grace Hospice Minneapolis, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR leadership and managing the daily operations of the human resources function.

About the Role

The Human Resources Director will collaborate with management and field staff to provide human resources that align with our Pillars of Care. This includes:

  • Recruitment and hiring efforts
  • Administration of Human Resource policies and employee retention
  • Management of workers compensation claims
  • Analysis of employee survey data and retention improvement strategies
  • Investigation and guidance on performance improvement
  • Assistance with interviewing and background checks
  • Timely evaluations and compliance with personnel files
  • Compliance with labor and Human Resource regulations
  • Coordination with external agencies
  • Management development and training programs
  • Development of job descriptions and policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of human resources experience in a leadership role
  • Previous experience in a healthcare-related field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning new applications
  • Proactive approach, strong work ethic, and excellent coachability
