About the Role

The Department of Corrections Executive Leadership is seeking a highly skilled Grants Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Department's efforts to obtain grant funding by identifying and developing viable proposals for external funding of programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for grant management
  • Research and identify potential grant funding opportunities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop grant proposals
  • Coordinate award acceptance processes and grant reporting
  • Provide technical assistance to Department staff on grant-related matters

Requirements

  • Experience in grant writing, research, and management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
