Position: Grants Management Specialist

Work Schedule: Weekly work hours will be coordinated with the Grants Director based on workload requirements.

Contract Duration: 12 Month Agreement

Remote Work: This position is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all facets of federal funds financial oversight and regulatory program support for grant recipients and State appraiser licensing and certification programs.
  • Facilitate the entire lifecycle of grants, from pre-award preparations through to implementation and closure.
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring that all objectives and deliverables throughout the grant lifecycle are successfully met.
  • Collaborate as part of a team or contribute independently.
  • Draft memos for grants and program officers to document the acceptance and approval of final reports and other necessary deliverables.
  • Evaluate grant and agreement applications for compliance, clarity, and completeness.
  • Monitor grantees' ongoing operations to ensure adherence to award provisions.
  • Conduct cost analysis of approved grant applications.
  • Track grant payments and fund balances to generate status reports and statistical data.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to review project budgets.
  • Prepare award documentation and assist in managing awarded grants, including the receipt and approval of change requests.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to grantees.
  • Address audit findings and facilitate the administrative closure of expired grants.
  • Assist in negotiating, preparing, and managing grants, cooperative agreements, or related instruments.
  • Utilize internal administrative and financial controls to maintain and update existing grants and agreements.
  • Support the creation of SAM accounts for all grant-eligible entities.
  • Respond to inquiries and manage modifications or extensions of performance periods for grant-related work.
  • Engage in other grants or policy-related activities as required by the agency.

Qualifications:
Familiarity with 2 CFR 200 Part 200, also known as the Super Circular.
