LPN Charge Nurse

The LPN Charge Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for making administrative decisions and supervising resident care in the absence of senior leadership. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate resources and prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise resident care and coordinate resources from ancillary departments
- Make administrative decisions in the absence of senior leadership
- Lead by example and demonstrate F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust)
- Participate in shared nursing leadership to achieve positive outcomes and resident-centered care
This role requires working in a well-lighted, ventilated, and air-conditioned area, with occasional exposure to unpleasant odors, sights, and sounds. Long periods of standing and moving around the unit are required, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited LPN training program
- Demonstrated competence in the clinical setting
- Current LPN license in the State of Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
