Job Summary:- Under the supervision of a Physician/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, provide high-quality nursing care to assigned patients, adhering to established medical protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional accountability and growth, maintaining and expanding knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional patient outcomes, and contribute to the achievement of our mission and philosophy by embodying our core values: Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Work in a well-lit, ventilated, and air-conditioned area, with minimal exposure to unpleasant odors, sights, and sounds.
- May be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with long periods of sitting and moving around the unit.
- Risks exposure to disease, infection, physical strain, and assault, as well as potential exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, radiation, and antineoplastic agents.
- Must be able to move or position 25 pounds independently, and maintain a high level of physical fitness to perform job duties.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN training program, with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
- Three (3) years of LPN experience in a clinical setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with a strong commitment to maintaining current certifications and competencies.
- Current LPN License in the state of Kentucky, with a strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing nursing practice.
