Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position is based in a well-lit, ventilated, and climate-controlled environment. You may encounter unpleasant odors, sights, and sounds, and the role requires extended periods of standing or moving throughout the unit. There are inherent risks associated with exposure to diseases, infections, physical strain, and potential assaults. Additionally, you may be exposed to blood, bodily fluids, tissues, radiation, and antineoplastic agents. The ability to independently lift or reposition 25 lbs is essential.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Completion of an accredited LPN training program is required.
Professional Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience as an LPN in a clinical environment is preferred.
Required Skills and Certifications:
Current LPN License in the state of Kentucky is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within three (3) months of employment.
