The Project Manager will implement programs and associated project plans, continuously monitoring progress to identify additional team support needed for refinement or redesign. Proven experience in account management and navigating complex client relationships is essential.

We seek an individual with a background in healthcare operations who demonstrates professionalism, a passion for innovation, and a collaborative, strategic, and hands-on business style.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan, and execute projects necessitating cross-functional collaboration and management of interdependencies across various teams and related activities, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
  • Investigate best practices, leading technologies, and emerging trends to enhance member/patient experience design and process improvement in healthcare quality.
  • Develop comprehensive program and project roadmaps to effectively plan, organize, and manage daily operations, including budget oversight and optimal resource allocation.
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary to sustain project viability, providing stakeholders with updates on progress, business impacts, and strategic directions.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to shape program/project strategies and methodologies.
  • Educate and train other teams on project management tools and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the consulting team by developing and organizing processes related to program/project analysis, structuring, development, and execution.
  • Create detailed documentation that presents a coherent narrative, outlining member/patient journeys and internal operational workflows.
  • Support Summit's commitment to delivering value at every partner interaction, adapting communication styles to foster strong relationships.
  • Assist leadership in documenting processes to establish repeatable and scalable programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing programs, projects, or related work within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in large, complex healthcare organizations or consulting firms is preferred.
  • Extensive project management experience with the ability to juggle competing priorities and projects.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
  • A strong passion for process improvement, innovation, and patient-centered programs.
  • A proven thought leader with a strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to apply logic and creativity to solve complex problems.
  • Experience in implementing new healthcare programs and/or contracts.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage change and willingness to take on tasks outside of defined roles to support team dynamics.
  • Effective communicator who can engage and influence senior management teams.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and unstructured team environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

What We Offer:

We provide a competitive salary and benefits package, including unlimited PTO to promote a healthy work-life balance, a company-funded Personal Giving Account for philanthropic efforts, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
