Key Responsibilities- Define, plan, and execute projects that necessitate cross-functional collaboration and management of interdependencies among various teams while adhering to scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
- Investigate best practices, leading technologies, and emerging trends in the industry to enhance member and patient experience through process improvement and healthcare quality initiatives.
- Create comprehensive program and project roadmaps to manage daily operations effectively, including budget oversight and optimal resource allocation.
- Implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project viability, and communicate progress, business impacts, and strategies to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to shape program and project strategies.
- Educate and mentor other teams on project management tools and methodologies.
- Contribute to the consulting team by developing and organizing processes related to program and project analysis, structuring, development, and execution.
- Produce detailed documentation that outlines logical narratives, member/patient journeys, and internal operational workflows.
- Support Summit's mission to deliver value at every partner interaction, adapting communication styles to foster strong relationships.
- Assist leadership in documenting processes to create scalable and repeatable programs and initiatives.
- A four-year degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing programs or projects within a healthcare environment.
- Experience in large, complex healthcare organizations or consulting firms is preferred.
- Extensive project management experience is essential, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
- A strong passion for process improvement, innovation, and patient-facing programs.
- Demonstrated thought leadership with a keen ability to apply logic and creativity to resolve complex issues.
- Experience in implementing new healthcare programs and contracts.
- Ability to manage change effectively and take on responsibilities outside of defined roles to support team dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior management teams.
- A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and unstructured environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
