POSITION SUMMARY:

We are in search of a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Project Coordinator to become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in managing electrical construction projects, particularly in the multi-family sector. This position presents a unique opportunity to guide a team of skilled professionals, oversee project timelines and budgets, and ensure the delivery of superior electrical services.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multi-family electrical construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Engage with contractors, builders, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
  • Create and uphold project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes, and address any arising issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and technical specifications.
  • Inspire and lead project teams, offering guidance and support to maximize performance and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates, respond to inquiries, and foster positive relationships.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, budget evaluations, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of five years of experience in a relevant role is required.
• At least five years of supervisory or management experience in electrical work within the multi-family sector or a related construction field is essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in job costing, planning, quality management, safety training, and contract administration.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project) is necessary.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• Extensive knowledge of materials, methods, and tools utilized in the electrical construction industry is crucial.
• Ability to identify the appropriate tools and equipment necessary for various tasks.
• Strong understanding of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their practical applications in project management.
• Commitment to continuous learning through educational workshops and technical publications.

General Duties:

• Organize and coordinate multi-family construction projects effectively.
• Assess and allocate manpower and workforce needs for each project.
• Participate in the recruitment process for new field employees.
• Address manpower conflicts and challenges that arise during projects.
• Collaborate with the General Superintendent and Project Foreman to ensure project guidelines and expectations are met.

• Work closely with field, office, and pre-construction teams to maintain accurate field drawings.
• Ensure all daily inspections align with quality standards and guidelines.
• Complete all required daily paperwork in accordance with company protocols.
• Develop and conduct training for field personnel on project supervision and related processes.
