Job Overview

ROLE SUMMARY
Assists the Site Manager in steering the car wash facility towards achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring team member contentment, while maintaining the esteemed reputation of Conrad's Tire Express and Total Car Care and fulfilling all performance targets.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service that surpasses expectations while adhering to company policies.
- Cultivate a loyal customer base through trustworthy relationships built on integrity and fairness.
- Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and supervisors, ensuring clarity on all relevant matters.
- Present a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor to all customers.
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, including equipment upkeep and quality control of wash services.
- Manage daily operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and processing discounts.
- Accurately invoice customers for services rendered.
- Address customer complaints and employee issues with a calm and fair approach.
- Analyze performance data to inform daily operations and enhance productivity.
- Achieve set monthly performance goals.
- Follow precise opening and closing procedures.
- Complete all administrative tasks punctually, including scheduling, evaluations, and inventory management.
- Assume Site Manager responsibilities in their absence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

INTERACTIONS
This position involves regular interaction with the Car Wash Business Development Manager, car wash staff, WMC personnel, vendors, and select store personnel.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma is required; candidates should possess six months to one year of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and skills in repair/maintenance, sales, customer service, and branch management operations are essential.


LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence. Effective verbal communication skills are necessary for interactions with customers and employees.


MATH SKILLS
Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.


PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY
Ability to tackle practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting diverse instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods. Frequently moves and lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs. Regularly bends and crouches to repair equipment. Occasionally unloads deliveries and organizes supplies on multi-level shelving. Uses hands/fingers to operate machinery and tools, and communicates effectively with customers and colleagues.

While performing duties, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud, and employees may be exposed to chemicals.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee must maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy and possess a valid driver's license. Compliance with Conrad's Drug-Free Workplace Policy is mandatory. A background check is required as a condition of employment.
