Position Summary:

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Pastry Shop Supervisor who possesses a friendly demeanor, exceptional organizational abilities, a strong work ethic, and a desire for growth to maintain our positive momentum.

The Pastry Shop Supervisor will begin by gaining hands-on experience in various departments, developing a thorough understanding of each area and mastering the necessary skills. This individual will then collaborate with our current Pastry Shop Supervisor, Area Operations Manager, and/or owners to learn the management and leadership aspects of the business. Ultimately, the Pastry Shop Supervisor will independently manage shifts.

This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate and could lead to numerous possibilities as our business expands.

The Pastry Shop Supervisor will receive a salary ranging from $37,440 - $41,600 annually, based on their experience, motivation, ability to learn swiftly, and eagerness to grow. Additional compensation and benefits are available, including paid time off, monthly performance bonuses, mileage reimbursement, and other perks. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are accessible after a brief waiting period.

The Pastry Shop Supervisor will learn to mentor a team and manage a roster of 15-25 employees, ensuring seamless operations in both the kitchen and customer service areas. They will oversee the baking, frosting, utility, crafting, and guest service departments, among other responsibilities, including weekly ordering of ingredients and supplies, leading marketing initiatives, and greeting customers with a warm smile.

Key Responsibilities:
Accountability: Take full responsibility for fostering a welcoming work environment with a strong commitment to Making Genuine Connections, focusing on delivering the best service and highest-quality products. Maintain accountability for setting goals and demonstrating reliability.
Communication: Ensure effective communication with team members, Area Managers, Owners, Vendors, and Guests. Be responsive through various platforms and provide honest updates during weekly Area Manager visits.
Training and Development: Oversee the onboarding and training process. Select suitable trainers for new hires and nurture future leaders. Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
Operations: Lead and manage a team of 15-25 employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in both front and back of house. Supervise baking, frosting, utility, crafting, and guest service departments. Maintain cleanliness and manage inventory, ordering ingredients and supplies weekly.
Guest Service: Ensure an exceptional guest experience by minimizing wait times and delivering outstanding service. Represent the bakery professionally and handle guest interactions positively. Adhere to Guest Service Brand Standards and lead by example.
Financial Performance: Manage the bakery's profitability. Achieve COGS and labor percentage goals while minimizing waste.
Marketing and Events: Lead marketing initiatives and coordinate events. Stay informed about all promotions and offers.
Reporting: Accurately complete all required reports and trackers, including schedules, sales reports, labor reports, etc.
Independence: Manage the bakery independently without requiring assistance for shift coverage. Develop solutions for bakery challenges autonomously.
Holiday/Event Execution: Effectively manage high-volume days. Remain calm under pressure and ensure adequate inventory and staffing during peak times.
Flexibility: Be open to working any day/time the bakery may be short-staffed. Assist at other locations or travel for training/meetings as needed.
Team Management: Coach the team effectively and lead by example. Make decisions regarding team fit and part ways with team members when necessary.
Genuine Connections: Build connections with the team and ensure they are receptive to your leadership. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Assist with deliveries and all marketing functions, including events.
