Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily catering operations, including staff management, menu execution, and food quality assurance.

  • Establish operational policies for efficiency, conduct facility evaluations, and provide essential training for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to liquor regulations and organizational beverage policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in hospitality or a related discipline with 5 years of catering experience OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience OR 10 years of progressive experience in the field.
  • Possession of ServSafe and Alcohol Serving Certifications is mandatory.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel locally as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Delphi Systems is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in hospitality, marketing, or business administration.
  • Experience working on a large university campus.
  • Background in a unionized setting or public sector environment.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves balancing, carrying, standing, driving, and occasional travel.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM; flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • 37.5 hours per week.

Salary Information:

Level 29, PSU Hiring Ranges.
