Xometry, a leading digital marketplace for manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative to join our outbound sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and maintaining a robust pipeline, and driving revenue growth through proactive outreach and strategic prospecting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Proactively research and generate new business leads through market research, industry events, and networking.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and Maintain a Strong Pipeline: Qualify leads, develop a strong pipeline of prospective clients, and engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present our value proposition.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Schedule and conduct meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations with prospective clients to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Stay Informed and Adaptable: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to effectively position our products and services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in outbound sales or new business development.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and establish relationships quickly, self-motivated and goal-oriented, excellent organizational and time management skills, proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
