Operations Support Manager

We are looking for a proactive Operations Support Manager to enhance our operational effectiveness. This position is suited for individuals with a robust background in low-volume, intricate electro-mechanical sectors, particularly in the engineering repair domain. The selected candidate will report to the Operations Manager and will be instrumental in managing our operational processes, ensuring that resources are effectively aligned with production and financial objectives while adapting to both technical and personnel dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operational activities and guarantee optimal resource distribution to achieve production and budgetary goals.
- Initially manage a team of 6-10 individuals, with the potential to expand oversight to approximately 60 staff members.
- Develop and modify operational strategies to improve efficiency and align with organizational objectives.
- Maintain expertise in essential tools and software, including ERP systems (preferably Epicor), as well as Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and scheduling applications.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in a low-volume, complex electro-mechanical industry, ideally within the engineering repair field.
- A technical degree is preferred (Engineering/Mechanical/Electronics).
- Experience in project management, particularly in launching new products or programs.
- Proven leadership skills with a history of effectively managing and scaling teams.

This role is designed as a developmental opportunity with the expectation of progression to the Operations Manager position within two years. We are also open to considering experienced Operations Managers whose qualifications align with our requirements.
