Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to pursue and penetrate the hospitality and leisure markets in the South California region. This role involves self-initiated presentations at A&D firms, specifiers, group purchasing cooperatives, and direct sales to end-user customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Pursue, present, and sell textiles to customers in the hospitality and leisure vertical market.
  • Collaborate with the NA HQ team to manage leads and utilize CRM effectively.
  • Build relationships with specifiers, buyers, and end-users throughout the specified geography.
  • Develop sales tools and programs to showcase the Camira brand and story.
  • Make strategic decisions to build sustainable new market areas.
  • Introduce new products to pivotal customer accounts.
  • Organize sales and brand-building events to foster relationships.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, local and national IIDA events, and other networking opportunities.
  • Establish brand recognition and retention with leading design firms in the US.
  • Drive sales growth.
  • Work closely with local Independent Representatives to close and facilitate business.
  • Liaise with customer service and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with Camira's Global Sales Team to secure project generation and closing.
  • Contribute to the company culture by sharing knowledge, ideas, drive, and curiosity.

Requirements

  • Sales experience in corporate, hospitality, service, or entertainment industries.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizing, prioritizing, and time management skills.
  • Experience using social media as a sales tool is an advantage.
