The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering our Child Care Business Support Program across Connecticut, providing education and resources to child care providers at all stages of business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver program services, including outreach, facilitation, and education to child care providers
  • Develop and implement workshops, courses, and advising services to support child care business growth
  • Manage a team of program staff, including a Program Coordinator and Business Advisor(s)
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote program services and build relationships
  • Monitor program compliance and report progress to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in program management, community building, and customer service
  • Professional experience in early childhood education, community development, or the entrepreneurial ecosystem
  • MBA or undergraduate degree in business administration, management, accounting, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, or early childhood education
  • Strong understanding of the child care industry and business model
  • Excellent communication, writing, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
